She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Shipps and Bertha Shipps (Surman). She is survived by: her husband Paul Ignowski; her children, Jennifer Rourke (Tom) of Omaha, Christie Schexnayder of Ponchatoula and Ryan Ignowski of Norfolk; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Olivia Rourke, Lilah, Elley Schexnayder and Isaiah Ignowski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (2300 Madison Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery.
