He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Meyer and Halma Meyer (Voecks); and his granddaughter Makayla Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kay Dahlen; his children, Jeff Meyer (Marissa), Gina Uecker (Mike) and Brent Meyer (Cary); and his grandchildren, Nic Meyer (Kayla) of Norfolk, Meagan Meyer of Norfolk, Conner Uecker of Norfolk, Ashley Uecker of Norfolk, Emerson Meyer of Norfolk and Tessa Meyer of Norfolk.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Research Hospital or Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Nebraska.
