He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dean and Delores May Hansen (Kominek); his brothers, Keith and Jeff Hansen; and his brother-in-law Ron Wiedeman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Audra Kruse (Tim) of Norfolk, Amber Hansen-Moore (Tommy) of Newberg, OR and Annette Hansen of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Mason, Myles, Maxton and Davis; his sisters, Denise Borgmann (Mark) of Lincoln and Vicky Wiedeman of Norfolk; and his sister-in-law Jamie Hansen of Norfolk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
