It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valdene J. Tietgen of Norfolk, Nebraska, born in Dodge, Nebraska, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Konopasek and Bertha Konopasek (Vahle); her husband Alvin; her children, Cheryl and Ron; and her siblings, Ilene, Gene Cinfel and Donald Konopasek.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Sixta (Don); her granddaughters, Sherry Sixta and Christine Rinehart (Todd); her daughter-in-law Billie Tietgen; her grandchildren, Lauren Jambor (Ryan) and Jake Tietgen (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Ignatius Jambor, Wilhelmina Jambor, Helena Sixta, Austin Sixta and Maggie Tietgen; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Tietgen and Dorothy Tietgen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
