It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne W. Henkel of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Henry Henkel and Elsie Helena Henkel (Meyer); his son Royal Dean; his wife Cleo Ardell (Dorothy Quick); his son Joseph Wayne; his grandson Jeremiah James Albrecht; and his sister Donna Swaney.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Albrecht; his grandchildren, Jesse Albrecht, Dani Asay and Bobi Farrow; his daughter Geneice Smith (Gaynor); and his grandchildren, Tera Hanson and Anson Smith. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Fairmont Community Church or the Fairmont American Legion.
