He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Merryweather and Roma Merryweather (Wollen); his wife Janet Schoenjahn; his brother Burt Merryweather; and his grandson Stephen Mock.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Merryweather (Linda) of North Bend, LeeAnn Kingry (Dan) of Fremont and Melinn Brandt (Mark) of Fort Collins, CO; and his sister Kay Stigge (Rod) of Omaha. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Morse Bluff/North Bend Veterans Memorial Park or the United Presbyterian Church in North Bend.
