He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Starkey and Marie Starkey (McSharry); his siblings, Mary, Sally and Larry; his nephew Kevin Starkey; and his niece Juliana Faridi.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Starkey of North Bend; his daughters, Melody Starkey (Mike), Kreger of Louisville, Marie Starkey of North Bend and Olivia Starkey of North Bend; his siblings, Chuck Starkey (Bonnie) of Norfolk, Jerry Starkey (Sharon) of Grand Island, Joan Starkey (Rod), Connie Whitaker (Julian) of California, Jan Starkey of Texas and Jill Schreck (Randy) of Omaha; and his grandchildren, Adam and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
