He is survived by: his parents, Larry Ruzicka and Pat Ruzicka (Kavan) of North Bend, NE; his children, Emmett Lee and Elise Joy; his wife Danielle; his siblings, Hailey Kraus (Kevin) of Hooper, NE, Melinn Young (Justin) of Norfolk, NE and Tyler Ruzicka (Brittany) of Elkhorn, NE; his in-laws, Eugene and Julie Hildebrandt of St. James, MN; his siblings-in-law, Sarah Mortwedt (Erik) of Milford, IA and Ethan Hildebrandt (Karlee) of St. James, MN; his grandfather-in-law Yvonne Hildebrandt of Mountain Lake, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Grayson, Kade, Landon, Emmery, Hallie, Jacey, Beckham, Hudson, Jemma, Ryder, Reece, Mya, Ayla, Autumn and Leah.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (811 Locust St, North Bend, NE 68649).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials are given for a fund for Emmett and Elise, or please direct donations to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation (wffoundation.org).
