We announce the death of Annette Marie Chavis in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Annette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Fredrick and Gertrude Fredrick; her son Chris Roy; and her siblings, Ellard Fredrick and Dorothy Lahners.
She is survived by: her former husband Franklin Roy; her nieces, Cathy and Pam; her nephew David; her husband Bob Chavis; her son Mitch Roy; her grandsons, Casey and Tyson Roy; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Josiah Roy.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter Memorial Chapel (1616 W B St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens (8100 S Dodge Hill Rd, North Platte, NE 69101).
