He is survived by: his daughter Erin Earl of Florida; his mother Esther Long of Michigan; and his sisters, Joyce Wiest of Nebraska, Cathy Shaw (Jim) of Michigan and Nora Jane Matthews (Jon) of Michigan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Odean Colonial Chapel (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). The inurnment will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 S Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
