She was predeceased by: her husband Austin Macias; and her grandparents, Francis, Roberta Lee, LeRoy and Edna Griffiths.
She is survived by: her parents, Russell Lee (Denise) of Madrid and Marilyn Schmidt (Griffiths) of Olathe, KS; her children, Haylee Lopez and Jayden Macias of North Platte; her sisters, Machelle McCloskey (Mitch) of Grant and Brooke Namuth (Jordan) of Ogallala; and her siblings' children, Taryn, Wyatt, Tannen and Barrett. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Patrick's Catholic Church (415 N Chestnut St, North Platte, NE 69101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jayden Macias for future college expenses.
