Devona Mae Latimer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2022, at the age of 93, Devona Mae Latimer of North Platte, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Thayer and Bernice Thayer; her siblings, Ted (Maureen Thayer), Lester (Vivian Thayer) and Eva; her brother-in-law Darrel Isaacs; her son-in-law Rodney Martens; and her great grandchild Karinne Larshus.
She is survived by: her children, Janis Nutt (Louie), Vickie Johnson (Eldon) and Larry Fletcher (Beth); and her grandchildren, Krista Medo, Matt LaVine (Moe), Valerie Johnson (Tom), Kara Larshus (Curtis), Jessica Saner (Jesse), Wade Johnson, Craig Johnson (Kim), Megan Crow (Justin), Leslie Safranek (Brent), Lindsay Hallam (Jason) and Nichole Latimer. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family.
In North Platte Clarence and Devona were generous with their time serving as volunteers at the Great Plains hospital, taking tickets at sporting events, welcoming visitors to the Lincoln County Historical Museum, and helping with many other activities through RSVP.
Memorials may be given in Devona's honor to the Curtis Community Center.
