The memory of Donald Dean Brown of North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brown and Gertrude Brown (Clouse); his wife Neoma Max; his son Larry; his brothers, Francis (Jeannie) and Kenneth; his great grandchildren, Erica Lamphear and Emilia Clough; his in-laws, Carl and Lola Max (Bridgford); and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd "Bud" Max (Ilah) and Darlene Brooks (Glenn).
He is survived by: his children, Terry Brown (Kathy), Linda Brown and Kent Brown (Robin); and his grandchildren, Angila Brown-Haro, Jesse Brown (Annie), Katie Lebsock (Eric), Molly Kristick (Keaton), Michelle Lopez (Gary), Michael Kissinger (Nicole), Callie Barnes (Shane), Chelsie Sorensen (Noah) and Charmel Clough (Daniel). He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Odean Colonial Chapel (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (900 W. Avenue Cambridge, NE 69022).
In lieu of flowers, Don requested memorials be made to Emilia's Wings, to advocate for the families suffering infant loss, or to the family for designation.
