He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lamberty and Joyce Lamberty (Schaeffer); his parents-in-law, L. W. and Judy Dillon; and his siblings-in-law, Kent Delosh, Larry, Margaret Dillon, Butch Dillon, Don, Gloria Piper and Jodi Dillon.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Dillon; his daughters, Aimee Petray (Wade) and Mandy Vargas (Mike); his grandchildren, Brandon Petray (Krissy), Alyson Petray (Dylan), Adrian Vargas and Maverick Vargus; his great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Blaise; his siblings, Sue Delosh, Wayne Lamberty (Mary), Pam Long (Jim), Patty Lamberty and Nyla Walker (Dale); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Dillon (Donna), Jan Dillon and Kathy Dillon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2719 W E St, North Platte, NE 69101). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
