It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas William Moog of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Delbert Moog (Nola); his grandfathers, William Bachkora (Velma) and Edward Moog (Marie); his sister Diane Moog; his father-in-law Wallace Wadell; his stepfather Lloyd Synovec; his uncles, Dewey Oliver (Delores) and Jim Lowe (Kathleen); and his aunt Elaine McClellan.

He is survived by : his sons, Robert William and Nathan Douglas; his wife Danette; his grandchildren, Lilly, Kyleah, Macilynn, Axyl and Trypp; his siblings, JoAnn Griffin, Jan Pearson (Neal) and Gordon Moog (Susan); his uncle John McClellan; and his cousin Linda Shiers (Oliver). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family for their designation.
