He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Wentink and Ruth Wentink; his wife Kathleen Wells; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Mike Kujawa; his sister Audrey (Don Jorgenson); and his siblings-in-law, Burt Wells and Teresa Wells.

He is survived by : his sons, Mike Wentink (Cathi) of North Platte and Jerry Wentink of Glenwood Springs, CO; his grandsons, Paul Wentink (Amanda), Eric Wentink of Colorado, Christopher Kujawa and Nicholas Kujawa of Phoenix; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Blake and Savannah Wentink; his brother-in-law Ken Wells of Virginia; and his niece Shelia Oldenburg (Tom) of Colorado.
