It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean L. Chrisp of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Callaway, Nebraska, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dean E. Chrisp and Ruth I. Chrisp (Romans) of Auburn; his wife Marla of North Platte; his sons, Daniel Chrisp (Margarita) of Beaverton, OR and Caleb Chrisp (Steph) of Allison Park, PA; his grandchildren, Addison of Burlington, WY and Dean of Allison Park, PA; his siblings, Lynn Chrisp (Michele) of Hastings, Kent Chrisp of Seward and Jane Andrew (Rich) of Auburn; his uncle Duane Romans of Arnold; and his stepsisters, Candi and Tammy.

Memorials may be made to Hershey-Sutherland Fire and Rescue, Corner Stone Church in North Platte, or to Hershey Baptist Church.

Cynde Huebner wrote a sympathy message

“Friends from childhood never leave one’s heart. I knew Jean from high school days, having spent much time with Jean and Lynn, dancing in barns, travelling dirt roads, sharing life. Jean was full of cheer, had an easy laugh, and was kind to all. I have just learned of his death. There are not words to adequately express comfort to those he left living. As you walk through the sorrow of his absence, may you find a comfort and a peace that will sustain you. Respectfully, Cynde Harold Huebner”
