It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Freitas of North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Freitas and Izabel Freitas; and his sister Amelia. He is survived by : his wife Vicki Lacey; his children, John, Jr. of Wyoming and Joanna of California; his stepson Jason (Susan) of Texas; and his siblings, Morris, Joe, Assiss, Teresa, Patricia, Louisa and Judy. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
