He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Winchell and Barbara Winchell; and his siblings, Linda Fairchild and Dan Winchell. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Terry; his children, John Winchell (Sarah) and Jamie Streit (Carlos); his brother Dean (Tina) of Harvard, Nebraska; and his friend Sara Zogg. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many very special nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at 1400 S Dewey St, North Platte, NE 69101.
