It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena K. Yanney (North Platte, Nebraska), born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Jacob and Selma Jacob (Zamel); her husband Vernon G. Yanney; and her siblings, Edward, Sam, Charlie, Milford, Abe, Robert, Joe, Edna, Hazel and Carolyn.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda of Blue Springs, MO and Wayne of North Platte; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Jacob of Buffalo, WY, Mike Yanney (Gail) of Omaha and Paul Steinbrink of Kearney.

Memorial contributions are suggested to First United Methodist Church or to the Lincoln County Historical Museum.
