She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hirlinger and Clara Hirlinger (Grauer); her siblings, Janette and Chares Wayne; her daughter Deborah Dorwart; and her grandsons, Jonathan Gage Gaedke-Dorwart and Robert Chase Doenz.
She is survived by: her husband John; and her children, Theresa Doenz (Bill) of Big Horn, WY, Tamara Comer of Cozad, NE, Cynthia Halouska (Max) of Alliance, NE, David Dorwart of North Platte and John Jr. Dorwart (Sarah) of North Platte. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Carpenter Memorial Chapel (1616 W B St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (1400 E D St, North Platte, NE 69101).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
