He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gutz and Loverna Gutz; his son Carl; his sister Kimberley Thomas; and his sister-in-law Pamela Gutz.
He is survived by: his children, Regis Gutz of North Platte, Nicole Gutz (Billy Wright) of North Platte and Lisa Nelsen (Kelly) of North Platte; his siblings, Gregory Gutz (Alice) of Fremont, Timothy Gutz (Dixie), Lori Borchers (Terry) of Columbus and Becky "Little Bro" Rose (John) of New Castle, WY; and his brother-in-law Matt Thomas of Genoa.
