With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marty B. Calhoun of North Platte, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on May 28, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Calhoun and Betty Calhoun (McGovern); his father-in-law Gary Dimmitt; and his brother-in-law Jim Woodcock. He is survived by: his wife Terri Dimmitt; his mother-in-law Ellen Dimmit; his siblings-in-law, Tom, Tim, Tracy Dimmitt and Tara Woodcock; and his pet Little Miss Princess Minnie.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for future designation.

“I started school with Marty in grade school. He was a “wild child “ but we got along and I liked him. My grandma was one of his teachers in Hall School and he told me once that she was his favorite teacher. I know that he had an unusual life but I hope he found peace and happiness in the end. He always had such sparkly eyes and I had a crush on him all my life. Many prayers and blessings on his family.”
