We bid farewell to Michael J. McCarthy of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2024 at the age of 74. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles McCarthy and Dorothy McCarthy (Hollman); and his stepmother Hazel Haase McCarthy. He is survived by : his wife Jane; his sons, Matt McCarthy (Cassandra) of North Platte, Marcus McCarthy (Tessa) of Pittsburg, PA, Mitch McCarthy (Michelle) of Lincoln and Jake McCarthy (Katie) of Kearney; and his grandchildren, Alex Everhart, Marley, Jude, Perry Fischer, Phineas, Julia, Jack, Cameron and Annie McCarthy.
