He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scott Richards and Mildred Marie Richards (Arnold); his brother Anthony Richards (Tony); his sister-in-law Kari Richards; and his niece Brenda Brummels.
He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Richards (Scotty), Steven Richards and Patrick Richards. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and family.
A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2801 W E St, North Platte, NE 69101). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.
