He was predeceased by : his parents, Raul Palma and Catalina Nava; and his grandparents, Ignacio Palma, Guadalupe Martinez, Cruz Nava and Maria Reyes.

He is survived by : his daughter Catalina Nava (Douglas Chilson); and his grandchildren, Aubriella, Niyahna, Yrelia, Marcelo and Royal. He is also survived by siblings; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
