He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Roasch and Rita Roasch; his wife Glenda Roasch; his grandparents, Dorothy and Frank Musil; his in-laws, Glen and Nellie Johnston; and his brothers-in-law, Skeeter and Eddie Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Johnston (Stephanie), Shelly Barnhill (Kelly), Sarah Keeney (Dale), Misty Murphy (Fred) and Kim Kelley (Chris); his grandchildren, Joey Pafford (Kat), Rocky Pafford (Gina), Jessica Johnston, Tyler Johnston (Hannah), Kyle Johnston, Triston Barnhill (Savanna), Hannah Barnhill (Adam MacDonald), Duck Barnhill, Sammy Kelley and Jennifer Ramos (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Carter, Jace, Evan, Aubrey Pafford, Jaiden Vasquez, Theodore and PayPay Barnhill; his sister-in-law Judy Purvis; and his sister Toni Reken (Chris). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Miriam Cemetery (13308 Miriam Rd, North Platte, NE 69101).
