He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Dyanne Olson; parents: Arnold "Dick" Olson and Dorothy (Bradley) Olson; son: Brian Olson; stepson: Dick Noltensmeier Jr.; sister: Sylvia Olson; sister-in-law: Karen Olson; cousins: Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Patheal; uncles: Connie Cummins and Jake Taylor; aunts: Elsie Cummins and Osie Taylor; brothers: Eugene Olson and Roger Olson; daughter: Roberta Olson; son: Kelly Olson; other: Patricia Gallacher, Sharon, Donna, Pastor John Sexson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens (8100 S Dodge Hill Rd, North Platte, NE 69101).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nebraska Heart Institute.
