It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Lynn Scott of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Max, Nebraska, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Scott and Margaret Scott (Crow); his wife Betty Brown; his children, Kent and Karen; and his siblings, Claude Scott (Willa) and Evelyn Novacek.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Scott (Dianne) of Kearns, UT and Lynne Eddins (Gale) of Parker, CO; his daughter-in-law Judi Schanfish (Chuck); his grandchildren, Kristi, Benjamin, Samantha Scott and Tanner Eddins; and his great grandchildren, Darren Nichols, Jasper, Kayden Dalton, Trysten Eddins, Silas and Benjamin Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
