With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tom Best of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Best and Dorothy Best; his stepmother Pauline; his brothers, Jack, Bill, Dick and Bobby Best; and his granddaughter Cassey Jo Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Wava Henry; his daughters, Jody Best of Lincoln, NE, Pam McClean (Marty) of League City, TX and Vikki Carlson (Lance) of North Platte, NE; his grandchildren, Thomas Frye, Sean McClean (Allison), Kyle McClean, Jack Carlson and Drew Carlson; his great grandchild Emmett Frye; and his sister Joy Bauermeister (Don) of Battle Creek.
