With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane A. Johnson (Oakland, Nebraska), who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Brokaw and Agnes Brokaw; and her sister Blair. She is survived by: her husband Barry Johnson; her children, Dane Johnson (Lisa) and Brandee Johnson (Jeff Chumas); her siblings, Jim Brokaw, Besty Williams (Brokaw), Les Brokaw and Ginger Doubek (Brokaw); and her grandchildren, Devyn Collier (Nathan), Kyle Johnson, Karah Johnson, Korene Johnson, Caulin Johnson and Laityn Johnson. She is also survived by friends, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N Davis Ave, Oakland, NE 68045). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
