Jeri L. Baker Obituary

The memory of Jeri L. Baker (Oakland, Nebraska), who passed away on May 2, 2026 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Johnson and K. Ann Johnson; her husband Layne Baker; and her stepson Ross Baker. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Ahrens (Kristen) of Wilsonville, Brent Ahrens (Brooke) of Oakland and Andrea Clark (Josh) of Norfolk; her stepsons, Chad Baker of Lincoln, Clint Baker (Liza) of Waverly and Kent Baker (Melissa) of Lincoln; her significant other Leo Oligmueller; and her siblings, Debi Rowe of Craig, Ron "Bub" Johnson (Jody) of Arlington and Scott Johnson of Marble Falls, Texas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N Davis Ave, Oakland, NE 68045). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
