With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Shinkle of Oakland, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey P. Christensen and Evelyn I. Christensen (Wages); her husband Pat Shinkle; her sons, Jasen and Joey; and her brothers, Andy Christensen and Harvey Lee Christensen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Ratfield and Christina Shinkle; her siblings, Kathy Hengelfelt (Rodney), Bonnie Kahler (Richard) and Roy Christensen (Pattie); her siblings-in-law, Anthony Sonaty and Sandy Witcher; and her grandchildren, Evette Roman (Uri), Jesse Ratfield, Shayne Ratfield (Aryn), Kasen Shinkle-Johnson and Kristian Shinkle-Stinnette. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
