It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl D. Schulz of Ogallala, Nebraska, born in Fairplay, Colorado, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Schulz and Alma Schulz (Bryant); his sister Barbara Pankonin; and his brother-in-law Don Lehl. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Griffiths of Brule; his daughter Sarah Bockoven (Mike) of Grand Island; his granddaughters, Emaline Joyce Bockoven of Lincoln and Tessa Danielle Bockoven of Grand Island; his siblings, Judy Dickinson (Gene) of Lodgepole and Todd Schulz (Courtney) of Brule; his siblings-in-law, Judy Lehl of Brule, Jean Timm (Terry) of Big Springs, Jacque Schmer of Grant and Joe Griffiths (Debbie) of Charlestown, WV; and his friends, Dick Stockdale and Bill Poe. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins; and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family for future designation.
