It is with sadness that the passing of Charlene Marie Hooper (Ogallala, Nebraska) is shared. Charlene, born on January 13, 1939, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cochran and Alberta Cochran; her brother Danny Joe; her son Todd Hooper; and her sister Sharon Pilakowski (Cochran).
She is survived by: her husband Ron Hooper; her children, Jackie Lockhart, Cynthia (Mike McCauley), Kevin (Elise Lockhart) and Eric Hooper; her siblings, Larry, Deb Cochran and Vickie DeCent; and her grandchildren, Corey, Concetta Bang, Chandra, Mike Stroud, Aaron McCauley, Phoebe Lockhart, Aaron Collins, Zac Hooper, Zoe Hooper and Zarah Hooper. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Draucker Funeral Home (700 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (520 Maple St, Julesburg, CO 80737).
A memorial has been established in her memory for later designation.
