He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Victor and Laura Irene Brunner (Carlson); his in-laws, John and Imogene Perkins (Kosch); his brothers-in-law, John Perkins and Jack Cook; and his nephew Benjamin Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Mary K.; his children, Cari Brunner-Sughroue, Brian Brunner (Talitha), Tessa Fraass (Brad) and John Brunner (Kimberly); his siblings, Bruce (Colleen), Gary (Aileen), Kevin (Charita), Dean (Julie) and Lana Couch (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Lois Cox (Bill), Trudy Perkins-Hines (Jeff) and Gloria Cook. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great-grandsons, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, in honor of Don's support in establishing a Powerline Construction and Maintenance Technology program through Western Nebraska Community College (Alliance, NE) a Don Brunner Lineman Scholarship Fund has been established.
