She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Coleman and Lydia Vey "Lida" Moore (Crain); her husband Ken; her granddaughter Melanie Jo Edwards; and her brothers, Henry Sherman Moore, Cecil C. Moore and Hershel Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Hickam (Roberta) of Ogallala, Cheri Witko (Dan) of Gering and Marsha Biggs (Melvin) of Norwich, VT; and her grandchildren, Megan Jehorek (Rob) of Ogallala, Lindsey Ferland (Spencer) of Claremont, NH, Kathryn Kraus (Brent) of Grand Island, NE, Kevin Biggs (Natasha Lexin) of Diablo, WA, Sarah Biggs of Norwich, VT, Kay Bohl (Matt) of Cheyenne, WY and Brian Edwards (Kristen) of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (421 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153).
A memorial has been established in Doris' memory for later designation.
