She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Staples. She is survived by: her husband Rondell Cochran of Ogallala; her sons, Levi Powell (Tammy), T. J. Powell (Krista), Zane Powell (Colette), Shawn Cochran (Jeannine), Shane Cochran (Whitney) and Shadd Cochran (Amber); and her mother Gladyth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Point Church (2612 W A St, Ogallala, NE 69153).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Point Church Women's Group in Karen's memory.
