He is survived by : his son Carl Dean (Amy) of Lee's Summit, MO; his wife Marietta "Twerp" Kraus; his daughter Lenetta Kuehn (Jim) of Minden; his grandchildren, Karly (Chance Copeland) of Kansas City, MO, Katelyn of New York, NY, Kelly, Kristen of Lee's Summit, MO, Jalen of Minden, Eli of Minden, Elsie of Minden, Joey of Minden and Lucy Kuehn of Minden; and his siblings, Bernie (Pat) of Kearney, Dennis (Rexene) of Omaha, Don of Atwood, KS, Bob (Cyndi) of Big Springs, Tony (Ronda) of Ogallala, Jeannette Houschouer (Jules) of Julesburg, CO, Pat McCormick of Ogallala, Eileen Culek (Charles) of Kimball, Carolyn (Linda Delano) of Phoenix, AZ and Lynette Paquette (Al) of Windsor, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A memorial has been established in Len's memory for later designation.
