She is survived by: her children, Monica Lynne Cherrington (Marlow) of Ogallala and David Douglas Sheldon (Nickole) of Scottsbluff; her grandchildren, Shelby (Josh Covel), Justin Cherrington, Izabella Sykes (Sheldon), David, Hunter, Carlie and Liam Sheldon; her great grandchild Laikelynn Elizabeth Sykes; and her siblings, Karla Lawler and Lonnie Peterson (Sharlyn).

A memorial has been established in Linda's memory for later designation.
