He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Alfred Sr. and Viola Towell (Kirk). He is survived by: his wife June Towell of Ogallala; his children, Brock Towell (Audrey) of Cheyenne, WY, Cody Towell (Rebekah) of Ogallala, Season Gager (Coy) of Ogallala and Dustin Towell (Sherry) of Ogallala; and his siblings, Elaine Armstrong (Roger) of Berthoud, CO, Lois Brown (Keith) of Gilbert, AZ and Jay Towell (Linea Bonham) of Franklin, NE. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Max's memory for later designation by the family.
