He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Jellico Swanson (Matson); his wife Gloria Jean Joan (Hawks); his father Elmer Swanson; his siblings, Margy Bartak (Charles), Mildred Smith (Lloyd), Norma Peters (Kenneth) and Wesley Swanson; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Swanson; and his grandchildren, Keith Adams and Annika Swanson.
He is survived by: his children, Monti Swanson, Christine O'Neal (Darrell), Lori Widger (Marty) and John Swanson (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Calvin Swanson, Joseph Swanson, Brandi Adams, Dusty Swanson, Seth Adams, Dylan Widger, Kira Widger, Rebecca Swanson, Christian Swanson and Katrina Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Logan Swanson, Penellope Swanson, Topanga Swanson, Brecken Zona, Brooklyn Zona, Alex Swanson, Kyson Schnell, Shalea Schnell and Levi De La Fuente. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
