She was predeceased by: her son Lycurgus "Curtis" Curry III; her siblings, Constance "Connie" Forrest, Anita Gibson, Candace "Candy" Reynolds and Grant Mozee; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Forrest, Fred Gibson, Joseph Moore, William "Junie" T. Faulkner, Robert Gibson and Erika Mozee.
She is survived by: her son Michael B. Curry; her grandchildren, Jazmyn Ayers (Tony Patrick) of Lycurgus, Curry IV (Sara) and Tevin Curry; her great grandchildren, Marlee and Michaela Ayers; her sister Davida Faulkner; her daughter-in-law Tameka Sims; and her aunt Wendy Gibson.
