With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barb South of Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hollenbeck and Ione Hollenbeck (Bean); her husband Billy; and her brother Dick Hollenbeck. She is survived by: her daughter Billie Whitmarsh (Dave) of Bellevue, NE; her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Whitmarsh (David Driggers) and JD Whitmarsh; her son Rusk South (Eileen) of Bellevue, NE; her grandchildren, Shawna, Rusky and Ryan South; and her grandchildren-in-law, Roya and Jim.
