We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 88, Bernard Halbert (Omaha, Nebraska), born in Grant, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bernard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Halbert and Amy Halbert; his wife Madelyn; his children, Neil and Amy (Lushinsky-Bryson); and his son-in-law Jeffery "JJ" Bryson.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen Halbert, Lory Gamboa (Juan) and Chad Halbert (Amy Archer).
