We are sad to announce that, on April 10, 2024, at the age of 88, Bertha Mary Lutz of Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Schmitz and Olive G. Schmitz (Ramold); her husband Bill Lutz; her son Patrick Lutz; her grandson Michael Scott Lienberger; and her siblings, Alvin Schmitz, Lorretta Sarraillon and Joseph "Buddy" Schmitz.
She is survived by: her children, William Robert Lutz Jr. (Melony) of Tonganoxie, KS, Laura Blevins (Ralph) of Topeka, KS, Mary Hiatt (Richard) of Omaha, NE, Susan Lienberger (Scott) of Jewell, KS and Stephen Lutz (Randi) of Tonganoxie, KS; her daughter-in-law Kris Lutz of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Daniel Lutz, Jeremy Winfrey (Haley), Zachary Blevins, Paige Blevins-Jones (Jon), Megan Bergstrom (Kenny), Molly Grandgenett (Ryan), Max Hiatt, Maggie Matveyeva (Vlad), Ashley Augustine (Matt), Amy Ziolkowski (Jake), William Lienberger (Brittany), Olivia Lutz, Elise Lutz, Clayton Lutz, Anthony Lutz (Sarah), Matthew Lutz (Elizabeth) and Joseph Lutz (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Kellan, Kavik, Kodah, Lincoln, Theo, Charlotte, Daniel, Kennedy, Harrison, Agatha, Brynjar, Anna, James, Jack, Luke and Ariel; and her siblings-in-law, Caroline Schmitz, Joanne Hanks (Jim), Donna Stratker (Henry) and Gary Hert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
