She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Cook (Dahmer) and Leonard Cook; her husband George Koppit (Bud); her sisters, Arlene Scanlan, Mary Sue "Susie" Smith, Helen Ridgeway, Margaret Phillips, Joyce Bergfield and Nancy Davidson; and her son-in-law John Flenker.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Flenker of Council Bluffs, Cindy Smith (Doug) of Hiawatha and George Koppit (Janene) of Blair; her grandchildren, Nate Flenker (Megan) of Council Bluffs, Mitch Koppit (Catherine) of Plymouth, Dustin Koppit of Omaha, Mindy Johnson (Eric) of Lincoln, Josh Flenker (Krystin) of Council Bluffs, Shawn Smith (Kayla) of Crookston, Anna Bingham (Justin) of Bennington, Katie Forney (Brad) of Cottage Grove and Carleigh Golden (Seth) of Council Bluffs, Iowa.; and her sister Wanda Pennington (Glen) of Orlando, Fla.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
