She was predeceased by: her mother Pearl Valentine Rimington (Bourlier); her husband Marvin Wanek; her father Brian Nigel Wilson; and her siblings, Brian Eugene Rimington, Fred (Delores "Dode" Rimington), Emile (Barbara Rimington), Mary Jane (Jerome "Duke" Malfait) and Eva Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Wanek of Omaha, Kevin Wanek (Tami Baak) of Shorewood, Wisconsin and Karen Wanek-Voien (Erik Voien) of LaVista; her siblings-in-law, Roy Williams of Garden City, Kansas and Carole Dorman (Duane) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Chad Wanek of Omaha, Michaella Wanek of Omaha, Kristina Voien of Omaha, Brian Voien of Omaha, Ben Voien of Omaha and Sean Voien (Yuko Iwano) of Bermuda; her great grandchildren, Alexandria and Amelia Wanek; her grandchildren, Juliana, Hendrix, Adriana, Kinzlee Lou Jones, Kameron and Rei Voien; and her friend Mary Ann Byfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews.
