He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Bassett and Doris Bassett; his children, Vicki and Mike; his sisters, Betty and Patty; and his grandson Andy Bassett.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda. He is also survived by his grandkids, great grandkids and many friends and family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
