With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce A. Smith Sr. of Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Virginia Smith (Toy); and his son Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Smith; his children, Shannon Smith (Joey), Derek "Bubba" Smith, Kristin Glenney (Josh), Bruce Smith, Jr. and Carianne McCormick (Bryan); his siblings, Scott Smith (Anne), Jeff Smith (Vicky), Kevin Smith, Robin Decker, Sandy Smith and Amy Ogden; and his mother-in-law Shirley Joslyn. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
